A: Go to Autozone or Advance Auto to have someone tell you what the code is. Or buy an OBD II code tester. This can clear your code. Also it may lead you in the direction of the problem on your engine.

My car does not have a cassette deck, and I am looking for an easier/ cheep way to hook up my iPod. A: If your rotors are just smoothed, you can just cut the rotor instead of replacing it. Check your local car shop for some replacement pads and rotors (If needed). If you get this done by a mechanic it should be around 100 dollars including parts and labor.

Q: How do you tell the bell housing will fit other engines. 89 ford f-100 3/4ton mazda 5 speed?
I have striaght six with a 5 speed. Trammission went out what will fit

A: Hmmm…a 3/4 ton F-100? An F-100 is a 1/2 ton, a F-250 is a 3/4 ton. Anyway, about any tranny that bolts up to a small-block would work. Of note to previous answer, the 400 is actually the largest small block, it just uses the big-block bolt pattern. The 352 is the smallest commonly encountered big-block.

Q: Does anyone recommend the Mazda 5 for a family of five?
I want a small van that is sport. Was wondering if anyone has this vehicle and if they like it?

A: The car magazines like it because it drives like a car rather than like a clunky SUV or minivan. It’s also highly rated by Consumer Reports. There’s not much cargo space though with 5 passengers.

Best answer I can give you is try and stay with he Brand currently fitted as it should just Plug straight in.
I have just replaced a non working Radio/Cassette in my Daihatsu with a Ford one and had lots of problems with the different colour coding of the wires. And of course they had different connections so you would probably have to buy an adaptor of some sort.

A: The Mazda5 is essentially a small station wagon with sliding doors. It has nowhere near the space of an Odyssey or Sienna and has only six seats. Its chief competitor is the Kia Rondo, which doesn’t have sliding doors but fits a seventh passenger and has a quieter ride.

Q: Having a problem finding a roof rack/cross bars on 2002 Mazda Protege 5?
My friend has a 2002 Mazda Protege 5. He has the black plastic bars running up the length of the roof but does not have the cross bars that go between them. We are having a really hard time finding them.

He doesn’t want an aftermarket part, he wants something made to fit into the current configuration.

Price really isn’t an option. He is willing to pay up to $1000 for the stupid bars.

the bars certainly dont cost $1000 thats for sure.

how do you guys think it looks and do you think it looks good with a man driving it or is it more of a girls car?

A: Well it definitely looks like a chick car for sure!

However, my boyfriend is actually a professional driving instructor for a racing school and they have these MX-5’s. He absolutely LOVES the way they handle, despite how underpowered they are. He would own one, but he doesn’t want to look gay driving it. ;)

Q: How fast does Mazda MX-5 Activematic shifts when it is in the manual mode from one gear to another?
I’m currently researching about this car, just like to get some answers if anyone could help me. Because I used to drive a Mazda 3 and the manual gearbox mode on the Mazda 3 is terrible it has a big lag from changing one gear to another.

A: i test drove a mazda rx8 and when i used the triptronic, it took like a full second. it was kinda lame but some car companies have perfected it. My dads lexus does it almost instantly

Q: Does anyone have a mazda 5 with 4 children in full cars seats or boosters?
I have 4 children who are all in full car seast two rear facing and two forward facing. I was thinking i could put the two rearfacing in the third row since they wouldn’t need any leg room and the forward facing ones into the middle row. I just wat to know if they will fit becasue unless you have a radian rearfacing carseats are pretty massive

A: I have seen people do it. I have seen 2 in the back and 1 in the middle. So it shouldnt be a problem. Bring your car seats down to the Mazda dealer and see if they fit. Or test drive the 5, bring it home, and try it there.

Q: Can you lease the 2009 Mazda 5 for 48 months?
We are looking at this car. We don’t know if we want to pay cash, finance, etc. But if we lease it would need to be for about a 4 year term, not 3 years. If it can only be longer, how long?

Q: I bought a Mazda 5 in April. It is not great on rainy roads. Does anyone know how it does?
on snowy (not ice) roads? I am a loyal Mazda owner but not too sure about how it will handle on snow.

A: Yeah, Mazda does’nt put the greatest tires on the 3 and 5. Buy a 2nd set of tires for the winter and you will be all set.
