350z

Are you looking for a 350z for sale?

Q: 350z……………???
I have never set in one and i’m 5′5″. Would I be able to see over the steering wheel?

A: the 350z has a very low stance so the drivers seat and pedals have more of a linear layout that your standard car…its a little bit longer of a reach to the pedals…kind of feels like you’re sitting on the floor, but a few quick seat adjustments and you should be fine you reach the pedals, see over the steering wheel, and roast some tires…if thats what you plan to do on occassion

Q: What’s the difference between nissan 350z and nissan fairladyz?
i was just wondering is 350z and fairladyz and fairlady 350z the same car? i googled some pictures and they all look alike… im gonna get a 350z 08 … should i get all the nismo engine tuning stuff? that is on the nissan.ca website when u choose ur accesories?

A: no….fairlady z = turbocharged……350z = gay U.S. n/a version that sucks… :(

Q: What car should I get 350z or subaru wrx sti?
I am 16 years old and my dad bought a 2004 350z. I really had no influence on this buy. I was looking at 2005 subaru wrx sti. I dont know which to get because I like the 350z but it only has 2 seats while the wrx has 5. Please tell me which one you would choose, and the + and – of each car.

A: depends what youre looking for…

the STI is faster, has AWD for better handling… smaller engine but with a turbo which has a few advantages… like if youre not making boost (turbo doesnt kick in till like 2500 rpms) youll be using less gas (but good luck trying NOT to go fast in that car)… like you said seats 5, 4 doors etc etc

the 350 is a sexy looking car… lower, lighter, smaller… powerful v6, nice interior and sound system (that bose is amazing)…

like i said it all depends on what youre looking for.. if you want the looks and the fun of RWD go for the 350

if you want the rally type experience: fast, fun, challenging… go with the STI.. and as far as perfomance mods go, it’ll be easier to make the STI faster because its already turbo’d… you want more power out the 350, the largest gains in HP will come from forced induction

now ive got to do the responsible thing and give you a little pep talk… first off youre only 16 and im 90% sure you wont be paying for this car all by yourself… if i were you id get a beater car that you can learn to drive on (and not get too upset when you damage it)… both the cars youre looking at are beasts and take experience to drive, so that should probably be your first priority

Q: How can you make the difference between the 2004 nissan 350z trims?
How can you make the difference between the 2004 nissan 350z trims? All the 350z have navigation systems?

A: First of all, NO….(unfortunately) NOT all trims levels of the Z have the Navigation System.

While all the trim levels (Base, Enthusiast, Performance, Track, Roadster) had the same 287 HP engine, each trim gets a different goodie.

I.E. Track gets rear spoiler and Brembro Brakes, lower trim levels don’t.

My 2005 Base Model doesn’t get the Navi system, Traction Control (arrgh!), Bose Stereo, etc.

Q: Why do so many people choose a nissan 350z for a street car and modify its performance over others?
Why is the 350z chosen to be used in competitions, and to make them look nice with kits and modify the engines with after market parts over all the other cars they could be spending money on?

A: I don’t know….give me a good old Mopar anyday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Q: What exhaust will give better performence to a nissan 350z?
What name brand will give better performence to a nissan 350z and how much would it cost? Thanks.

A: go to this web site and check out some of their performance parts for those cars, they have a good selection, good luck on it,,,its http://www.autopartswarehouse.com/

Q: How do you properly replace a steering wheel for a 350z?
I have a 350z and I jus bought a sparco steering wheel for it. I have no idea how to install one cuz i’ve never done it. I know it requires a hub or an adapter which i haven’t bought. It has no cruise control or radio controls on the wheel but Im not sure what to do about the whole airbag business. Is it possible to do myself or shud I bring it to a pro?

A: For one, You can not LEGALLY remove the airbag safety system. If your state has a vehicle inspection law you will FAIL the inspection. For 2 The Nissan 350z has a computer operated safety “no start” system. If the airbag signal is not found by the ECM the car will not start.

Q: What year models do the 350z have tire feathering problems?
im looking to buy a 350z, i have my eye on a base 2005 model, but i heard some of the models get uneven tire wear. i think that only happens to the 03 and 04 models, not sure. does anyone know if the 2005 model gets that problem too?

A: i believe that problem was fixed the same year, or just the following year. they had a little bit of a toe and camber problem.
don’t get a base 350Z, get the enthusiast 350Z. the base does not have a limited slip differential… which sucks not having. but i don’t think that back in 2005 they were called the enthusiast model. sorry man i forgot this detail.

unless you plan on installing a NISMO limited slip differential, it’ll be ok to get the base model.

Q: What would win in a race between a 350z and eclipse?
me and my freind are arguing. say a stock 350z and a stock eclipse line up for a lets just say 1 mile sprint. what would win i personally think the 350z easy.

plz prove your logic with a website or something.

A: 350. The eclipse does not stand a chance whatsoeever.

Q: What are the dimensions of the center console for the 350z?
I am looking to buy an in-dash touch screen for my Nissan 350z and need to know the dimensions for the center dashboard console where GPS and DVD receivers are put.

Q: How do you remove the cluster gauge on a 350z?
My Car is a 2007 350z, and I’d like to know how to remove the cluster gauge to a 350z. I want to change the lights in it from the stock orange to a red. I already bought the lights for it, but the instructions only come for after removal of the cluster gauge. The instructions require removal of the needles as well.

A: Pulling the needles off of the shafts! Ouch I have replaced the gage faces on Nissan’s and have not had to much luck with needles. About half the time the shaft pulls out of the gage motor and your done and cannot get the instrument to work properly afterward. I would allow a car customizer who has more experience to mess with the instrument needles and just stick to changing the lights and see if that is enough. The entire cluster is held to the steering coloum on each side with 8mm bolts take the lower dash cover off after removing the outside carpet trim and body weatherstrip. Good Luck

Q: What is the best engine you can get for a nissan 350z?

I am looking for the best website to purchase high quality aftermarket parts for a 2007/2008 Nissan 350z coupe.

A: hks-everything? lol i love the blow off valves from there
greddy
stillen-if you want to go the supercharged route

Q: How do I max out my 350Z horse power in need for speed prostreet?
I have bought the 3rd power package for my 350Z but the horse power is only 501hp.

A: Keep buying other power packages, they all help, and some others add more HP.

Q: how long will it take for a automatic 350z to have transmission problem?
I have a 350z 2003. How long will it take to start having transmission problems?
Its automatic and it has 161K miles on it.
And how much would it be worth if its in the high mileage area but in good condition?

A: It all depends. The Nissan Z series are some of the most well made cars on the market(trust me, my boyfriend and I have 2..about to be 3). As long as you don’t change gears(as in reverse to drive) while the car is still in motion and don’t drive through high water your transmission will be fine from 250-300K miles! If you go to www.kbb.com it will give you an option to see how much your car is worth if you were to sell it privately,to a car dealership, or if a car dealership was selling it. Every so often(maybe every year) take it to a mechanic and have it looked over just to make sure everything is looking okay. If your check engine light comes on you can take it to Auto Zone and they will test it for free to see what is wrong. If you can, have a friend change your oil, as long as they know what they’re doing, and use Royal Purple oil. It is the best oil on the market. It costs about $7 a bottle so it’s about $35-$40 per change but it’s worth it. Hope I helped :)
