Are you looking for a mustangs for sale?

Q: Mustangs…?
I was just wondering if older mustangs after being suped up and all go faster than the newer models, because I’m trying to get a car to drag with and i like the newer mustang body’s. are there any other cheap car that might be good at that kinda stuff? and is the newer mustangs any good?

A: Mustangs began their production in 1964 1/2.

While most all mustangs can be built to go fast, for drag I wouldn’t recommend the 60’s and 70’s models for that particular sport [[maybe it's just cuz I have a soft place in my heart for classic cars and restoration]].

The 80’s and early 90’s faux body mustangs are popular for that… especially if you get the 5.0. The 90’s and 00’s are great for it too. =] Obviously, just like almost any car, the newer ones are going to cost more.

Again, as with all of your prior questions, this is all a matter of preference. Yes, older mustangs have gone faster than newer ones… and newer ones have gone faster than older ones. It is all dependent on how they are modified.

Q: mustangs??????????????
can a mustang have 4 wheel drive, if so how much extra does it cost. My dad always says mustangs are not safe for St. Louis weather, but if this is so then why do I see so many of them? how much horsepower does the new shelby mustang have?!?

A: It would cost a bunch to convert a mustang to 4 wheel drive, there was a 77 trans am in my area that was converted to 4 wheel drive in my area, but doing it would degrade the value of your car. You can get mustangs with traction control which would help your bad weather safety a lot. As for the Shelby last year they had 500 horse, the new GT500 KRs are supposed to have 550 I believe, you see so many of them because they are cheap and popular, they are not really all that bad in the snow/rain, I owned a 91 GT 5spd, which did get a little squirley in the rain, but if you drive with common sense it wont be a problem.

Q: Where is the general population of mustangs in spain located?
I need to know an area in spain in which alot of Mustangs live. Whether it be in captivity, farms or just wild mustangs. Preferably wild.

A: You will find them in the Pyrenees.

As to whether they are wild, I’m sure that they all have owners, so forget about ‘cutting out’ one for yourself.

Q: Why does the government try to selectively breed mustangs in the Rockies?
I saw a PBS Nature documentary about mustangs, the ranchers caught a bunch of them, sold some to be trained, and released the ones that they felt they wanted in the wild gene pool.

Thing is, they released a completely white horse to spread his genes, while they attempt to breed out the horses with stripes on their legs. Are they trying to keep the horses from reverting to a completely wild state?

A: First you said “the government”

And then you confessed it was ranchers.

Make up your mind.

The mustang program is run by the BLM. (Bureau of Land Management) and really isn’t in the business of breeding horses. They want them gone, for some very good reasons, and some very bad ones… the good ones?

1. They are not native to our Rocky Mountain States, nor in California, and compete against Big Horn Sheep, a critter that IS native.

2. The bad is that the reason the ranchers want them gone is so that they can run cattle on that land for the paltry sum of $1 per head per year… and it is public land… land that is yours and mine, in essence. And cattle erode the soils which are fragile in the American deserts.

You can adopt one at a regular roundup near Ridgecrest, California, for next to nothing, you cannot sell it for several years, nor can you send it to Mexico to be slaughtered, nor breed it.

(And OBTW a white horses are not necessarily an albino (usually they never are)… their skin is gray or black, and I have no idea why any rancher would even want one.

Full blooded mustangs are small, 600-800 lbs) can carry little weight, and not for very long, their heritage is arab, a small horse, and barb, another small horse.

The only ones of any size at all are ones that have crossed with Quarter Horses, Thoroughbreds, Morgans, etc. Otherwise, they are an inadequate working horse for the most part, unless they are a cross.

And the younger you get one, the better off you will be in trying to tame it as a riding horse (should you even want one).

Q: How long did it take dealers to actually sell 100,000 Mustangs?
Introduced in April 1964, the Mustang had sporty styling, economic value, and a long list of options that appealed to men and women of all ages.
The Mustang’s popularity grew quickly. Experts had guessed that 100,000 Mustangs would be sold in the first year.

Q: Are Ford Mustangs considered to be drivable In the winter?
Are Ford Mustangs considered to be drivable In the winter? If so under what conditions and if not why not?

A: yup, i drive mine all year round in michigan. I have a summer and winter set of rims/tires. Winter tires i use all seasons on front and snow tires in back with 2 to 4 bags of salt and i have no problem. Yea i still slide a little but not as bad as it was without weight and snow tires. A lot of it has to do with your driving habits, Ive driven mine for 5years now and know exactly how my car reacts to the snow, icy and slush and so i change my driving style to fit whats needed.

Q: The mass of how many ford mustangs is equal to the mass of the water in the Atlantic ocean?
Please help!!! Fermi Question, try to explain if possible! Here it is again

The mass of how many ford mustangs is equal to the mass of the water in the Atlantic ocean

Thank you so much!

A: It’s impossible, given that the mass of Mustangs vary, and that the water evaporates continuously, so the water mass is unknown.
