Q: Where can I buy the Jeep ® Wagoneer SE Tandem Stroller?
I like this tandem stroller a lot b/c it looks super sturdy fabric and lots of nice storage, but where can I buy it? Anyone own it and suggest carseats? It does allow for two carseats at the same time?

A: babiesrus.com

Q: put a new fuel pump in 1989 jeep wagoneer still will not start where is the fuse?

A: the fuse for that is located under the hood you will see a black box about 2×5 some where near the battery that might say on it aux fuse or fuse relays the fuse will be a block about 1×1 i belive but that is were you should look for that particular fuse.

Q: My Jeep Wagoneer won’t start. It just makes a single clunk noise. What could the problem be?
I’ve replaced the alternator, starter, solenoid, battery and cables, and a little more. It just died on me one day while driving and now won’t start.

A: It sounds like your starter. I know you said you just replaced it, but you could have a faulty starter. The starter should be turning even if the car doesn’t start. The solenoid will engage the starter drive with the flywheel , but unless the motor is seized, it will still turn. Put a socket on the flywheel and use a breaker bar to try to rotate the crankshaft clockwise, this will determine if the motor is seized. Otherwise pull your starter and have it bench tested where you bought it. You probably just need to replace your starter/solenoid assembly. One more thing! Is the battery any good? The battery has to be pushing enough amperage to turn the starter. Check the battery first, and it’s connections.

Q: will a 350 motor fit in a 84 jeep wagoneer?
I have 84 Jeep Wagoneer , auto, 4×4. It has a 2.5 in it , but can not find any motor’s (2.5) for it. Thinking of putting a 350 motor in it . Will it fit?

A: yeah man you can stab a 350 into your wagoneer pretty easy and if you check out sites like www.bjsoffroad.com they sell motor mounts for fsj’s to convert to 350 chevy motors and yeah it iwll fit you dont really have as many space issues and you can easily find parts for the 350 motor since it was so mass produced

Q: How do you get the serpentine belt on a 1988 Jeep Wagoneer (where the heck is the belt tensioner)??

A: there may not be a tensioner on that model!! if not you need to loosen alternater enough to slide either dirrection,, replace belt then re tighten the alternater, after you get it back in place!! must be held in tight position, with big screw driver or simalar, tighten bolts!! there should be no more than 1/2 inch movement in belt when proper!! or your alternater wont put a charge into the battery!! if not sure take to a shop!! should`nt be a big cost to do this!! good wrenching

Q: Where is the O2 sensor located on an 1985 Jeep Wagoneer?
I cant find one from the catalytic converter to the tail pipes, nor can I find one from the headers to the catalytic converter. Btw the Engine is v6 2.8L

A: to find the O2 look at the exhaust system and look for wires that go to any part connected to the exhaust pipe.

Q: Does anyone know how the 4 wheel drive on a Jeep Grand Wagoneer is activated?
Obviously the switch on the car marked 4wd, but is there any sounds or signs that verifies that the 4 wheel drive is engaged? I am not sure if the switch on my Grand Wagoneer is working or not.

A: Its a vacuum operated switch. and many times the cracked vacuum lines will render it(and the related dash light) completely useless.

A quick test: Engage the switch, and drive a tight figure 8 in a parking lot. If the 4wd system is engaging, then you will feel the system binding up when you drive. Don’t do more than a single figure 8, and release the system as soon as your are done. As driving in 4wd on dry pavement can do damage to the system.

If having 4wd is important, start checking all the vacuum lines on the Jeep. Sometimes the vacuum leak isn’t even in the 4wd system.

Q: How do I change the fluid in the reservoir in 88 Jeep Cherokee Wagoneer?
My Jeep keeps over heating and I believe that I have very little fluid in the reservoir. It was over heated and I turned it off and it all came bubbling up and threw the cap….. I am very new to driving and I don’t know a lot about how to fix things. What I need to know is how much of what should I add to the reservoir and how do I do it? Also any other possible explanations to my overheating would be helpful, thanks :)

A: need to fix over heating problem first blown head gasket worse scenario , water pump out next , easiest is fan belt loose

Q: I have a 1991 Jeep Grand Wagoneer. How can I get it to pass auto emissions standards?
Without getting a new engine, is there something I can do with a 91 Jeep so it passes inspection. My mechanic says it won’t pass without a new engine. It emits really nasty exhaust.

A: Could you afford to get an exhaust system, it’s cheaper than buying a new jeep. If it has a catalytic converter on it, punch holes in it. that’s the worst thing they ever invented! Our state doesn’t even have the AET anymore! They did away with that dumb test years ago! Maybe your mechanic is trying to rip you off!

Q: What is a good website to sell my Jeep Wagoneer on and quickly?

A: I have used autotrader.com every time I have sold my cars and it has always worked out well.

Q: I need to know if the power steering hose and pump are all one piece in a 1990 Jeep Wagoneer?
was told my power steering hose was leaking. I need to know if the hose is seperate from the pwr steering pump or are they all one piece?

A: That is correct. You can go to Auto Zone and see the part numbers. The high pressure or delievery line has fittings on each end and the return line clamps on to hose barb’s with clamps on each end. Make sure you use oil cooler hose or similar and NOT vacuum hose for the return line.
Good Luck,

Q: turning a Jeep wagoneer to a cherokee?
Ok So my sister has a 1989 lifted jeep cherokee and I have a none lifted wagoneer-1989 as well. My question to whom ever answers is, Can I put the front end of a cherokee on a wagoneer they measure up the same height and length. Almost every thing about the jeeps are the same the hoode the fronts are the same accept for the lights and the grill. So please answers the best you can thanks. :)

A: The front header will swap over changing all the lights and grill in one swoop. The tail lights are also different but will swap. you do need to change the rear wiring harness.

My son would probably make the swap for you as he wants another Wagoneer grill and taillights as a spare for his.

Q: My 1989 Jeep Grand Wagoneer has issues with stalling and fuel injection. What is the problem?
Me and my dad rebuilt the Carburator, thinking the stalling would stop. Unfortunately, the car continues to stall. As of now, we are thinking the fuel filter or the fuel pump may need to be replaced. Also, when the car is accelerating, the fuel has trouble getting to the engine from time to time. These problems only occur when the car is already warmed up. We do not know what to do next, if you guys have any ideas, help me please.

A: Yeah look to that fuel filter first. They are often neglected. Then try the fuel pump. Considering the age of your Jeep one of those two may be bad.

Q: what is the best place to sell 89 jeep grand wagoneer?
are there any jeep speciality places that restore them that buy them?

A: well, generally, autotrader.ca will have it sold in a week… actually, i’m looking for a wagoneer, lol. of course, i live in ontario, and have no idea where you are selling from. i would say sell it to me, lol. ya, auto trader is a really good start, just creat an account, and there is an option to sell your vehicle on their home page. the really expensive wagoneers sit around for a while though. anything under 5 grand tends to go within the week. i would know. i’ve been whatching wagoneers on autotrader for a few years now (seems like a long time i know). if i knew the km’s on it (possibly miles) and the condition, possibly a pic, i could probably tell you an estimate price. there used to be a guy who bought clean wagoneers and restored them to factory specs (based in California i believe.. too far for me). he did a beautiful job, bar none he was the best i’d seen. better than factory (unfortunately, he closed up shop a year ago). there is a good chance of selling in the states too. more people know about them there. here in ontario you almost never see them. personally i love them, they look so cool. anyways, hope this helps.

Q: How can I hotwire my 1987 Jeep Wagoneer?
My roommate lost the keys to my truck several weeks ago and I’m trying to get it started. It’s been sitting, broken down, in our driveway for about 8 months now and I’m ready to get it running again, but now…no keys!

Also, who is a bigger loser? My roommate for losing my keys, or me for having my vehicle stuck in the driveway for most of a year (it’s my only personal mode of transportation)?

A: you can call a dealership. they can get you a new key. i know for newer cars you have a code written with all your information that tells them what key to order. or you can call a locksmith. they should be able to do it for you.
